We believe students come first.

And that they deserve greater access to the policies, processes, and people shaping their education. The legislative system is a complex and often inaccessible process through which our state makes big, impactful changes. Everyone deserves access to this process, and we believe that young people in particular must be a part of the decisions we make around education.

We created this hub as a way to increase access, knowledge, and broader understanding about some of the education policies making their way through the WA Legislative Session. We strive to make bill language more understandable, provide relevant context, offer ideas on how to think critically about the proposals legislators are putting forth, and enable young people to engage in advocacy work. This is a growing, living resource hub that we hope to expand over the course of this year and beyond.
